We are pleased to present the new Googolplex Solitaire games in solid hardwood! Red Oak (left) and Ash (right side) add an elegant touch to a classic game. These are our first entry into solid hardwoods with the special purchase from the University of NH sawmill project. Much of what we secured was remnant rough cut lumber, weathered between 1 and 2 years. While the quantity is very limited we estimate about 65 games in each wood type will be available during 2011. The images are prototypes as we begin the slow process of creating games by planing, joining, router, drilling, sanding, staining, sanding again, silk screening, assembling and finally packaging. Total counts are estimated and any orders we will not fill will be 100% refunded and a thank you gift for the hassle. The pictured Ash board was intentionally left blank with the thought maybe, just in case you don't want the Solitaire game here but favor the Music edition of Last Man Standing, or Lobsters we can get it right. Feel free to order the game then drop me a note stating 1) your just purchased, 2) You'd like ??? game silk screened (we can discuss color options) on the game itself. As each game will truly be hand crafted, almost from the log as it were, we want to make sure these will be enjoyed for generations to come. | ||
